PRODIR Certification
The Responsible Distribution Process (PRODIR) was created by the Canadian Association of Chemical Distributors (CACD) in 1987 and was adopted in the United States by National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) in 1991. In 2016, PRODIR was already implemented for 14 years by ASSOCIQUIM (the Brazilian Association of Chemical and Petrochemical Distributors), factor absolutely relevant in the transformation of the brazilian chemical and petrochemical distribution chain. PRODIR has consolidated as a qualitative reference, implementing sustainability principles in the chemical and petrochemical distribution field. Proof of its strength and acknowledgment demonstrates in the growing number of organizations that apply the PRODIR in their operations and, increasingly, on the consuming industries demands that their suppliers apply the principles established by PRODIR.
